WHICH ISLAND IS BETTER IN TERMS OF PRICING?

Let’s talk moolah, baby! When it comes to the cost of living it up on two tropical islands, Grand Cayman and Aruba are neck and neck. But like all things in life, the devil is in the details. Grand Cayman may have you digging a little deeper into your vacation budget for snazzy accommodations, while Aruba is a bit more budget-friendly with a greater selection of hotels and resorts. When it comes to feasting like royalty, Aruba’s got the upper hand with generally lower food prices, but don’t fret – both islands serve up some seriously delicious grub.

THERE IS PLENTY TO DO ON BOTH ISLANDS!

Both islands offer a wide variety of activities for all types of travelers. For example, if you’re looking for a beach day, both islands have stunning white sand beaches with crystal-clear water, making them perfect for swimming or snorkeling. They also offer a range of activities, such as zip lining and horseback riding, that can provide an adrenaline rush if that’s what you’re looking for. In addition, if you’d like an educational experience while on your trip, there are plenty of museums and historical sites to explore in both locations.

AMENITIES THAT WILL MAKE YOUR VACATION UNFORGETTABLE

Both Aruba and Grand Cayman have excellent amenities available for travelers. For example, both offer restaurants with outstanding local cuisine. They both have nightlife spots, like bars and clubs, that provide live music or DJs spinning tunes. And they have tourist attractions like casinos and botanical gardens. But the main difference between these two destinations lies in their respective climates; while Aruba has year-round warm weather with little rain during the summer months, Grand Cayman experiences frequent showers due to its tropical climate, which can put a damper on your plans if the rains come too often during your stay. What I noticed the most was that the sun in Aruba seems to cook you more than in Grand Cayman; you’ll feel like a fried egg in a hot pan. Quick to fry and crunch up around the edges.

WHICH ONE WILL YOU PICK?

When it comes down to deciding between Aruba or Grand Cayman as your Caribbean destination this year—it all boils down to personal preference! While they may seem similar at first glance—there are subtle differences between them both in terms of cost structure (accommodations & food), activities offered & amenities available—so be sure to consider these factors before making your decision! Ultimately, though—it’s up to you—which island will win? As long as you enjoy yourself no matter where you go—that’s what matters! Happy travels!
